Pimples are minor skin problems which usually heal after a few days, without leaving any traces on skin.
But, unfortunately that’s not always the case. Some pimples tend to leave traces on your face long after they’ve been completely healed. These unwelcome traces are called acne scars, and in most cases they tend to stay for good, unless you do something about them.
Fortunately, there are lots of proven methods which can help you to get rid of acne scars. These methods include both doctor-endorsed prescriptions and natural homemade treatments.

This face mask is super easy to make and takes only a few minutes to prepare. Just mix one tablespoon of nutmeg with one tablespoon of cinnamon in a bowel. Then add 2 tablespoons of honey to the mixture and stir it up well.
Congratulations! Your natural facemask for acne scars is ready for use.
To make it customizable for your skin needs, you can add other ingredients such as turmeric, oatmeal, or lemon juice to it too.
Be super careful about adding lemon juice to any of your face masks. Lemon contains a large amount of a chemical known as limonene. This chemical can cause photosensitivity and lead to severe skin burns. So, whenever you put lemon juice on the skin of your face or body, make sure that your skin do not get exposed to sunlight until you’ve washed it off completely. And, even after washing it up completely, make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen before going outside on a bright sunny day.
You can let this mask stay on your face for 20-30 minutes. The first time you use this mask, it may sting a little bit. But over time, and after using it for a few times, that stingness will get less intensive. If you felt burning or uncomfortable after putting on the mask, wash it off immediately. Maybe this mask is not right for your skin!
Do not use this mask every day. It may do harm than good if used excessively. I recommend you to use it at most once per week. I just use it when I feel my skin needs more love and attention!
