Nobody likes acnes!
They’re unwelcomed blemishes which appear on your face and their only job is to fade your beauty.
But the scars that some of these unwelcome guests leave on your skin are much more unpleasant and annoying.
There are lots of expensive beauty products available in the market which claim will help you get rid of acne scars. These high-priced products usually do not meet their promise, but what they tend to do well is taking dollars out of your pocket.
The good news is that if you know the how-to, the treatment of your acne scars should not cost an arm and a leg necessarily. It can be so cheap or even totally costless.
In a previous article I talked about a cheap and great face mask which not only enhances your skin beauty but will help you get rid of acne scars in an effective way.
Today, I’m going to talk about another costless natural treatment for acne scars which not only is as effective as our diy face mask for acne scars but is extremely easy to implement. This natural remedy for acne scars requires only one costless ingredient which you usually throw it away: Banana Peel.
The groundbreaking research shows that the peels of leafy greens and fruits contain more nutrients, such as minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, than the product itself.
For example the peel of potato contains a large amount of vitamin C, fiber, and minerals such as iron, calcium, sodium, and potassium.
The peel of banana contains a large amount of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants too. These nutrients makes banana peel a viable product for treating different health conditions.
In a different article I’ll talk about how banana peel can help with different health conditions. In this article we’ll only discuss how to use banana peel for treating acne scars.
Note: The peels of fruits and veggies usually get exposed to pesticides to keep insects and pests at bay. So, it’s important to wash them well before usage.
Pesticide Cleansing Solution
Rinse your fruits and veggies with the following pesticle cleansing solution to wash all toxins away from their peels.
To make a pesticide cleansing solution simply mix all of the ingredients below and wash the peels of the fruits and veggies using it.
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 cup clean water

How to Use Banana Peel for Acne Scars
First, you need to cleanse your skin using cool water and a facial skin cleanser product. Make sure not to use a strong cleanser but use a delicate facial cleanser to avoid irritation of the skin.
Cut the banana peel into small pieces. Massage your face using the inner part of a piece of banana peel. Continue massaging your skin for 10 minutes. If the inner part of the banana peel turned brown throw it away and use a fresh piece of banana peel.
Let the ingredients stay on your face for about 20 minutes and then wash it away with cool water.
To help you get rid of acne scars you need to apply this treatment 2 times per day (morning and evening) for 7 days.
